Baked Potato Casserole

Baked Potato Casserole

1 package shredded frozen hash browns
1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (or precooked bacon bits, not imitation)
1 pint sour cream
½ cup butter or margarine, divided
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup chopped green onions
½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs

Mix together hash browns, bacon, sour cream, ¼ cup butter (melted), cheese and onions. Place in a 9X13 pan. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top and top with remaining dabs of butter. If freezing, see directions below. Otherwise, bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.

Freezing directions: Place in a disposable aluminum pan and cover with foil

More like a breakfast casserol. Good flavor. We ate it all.
we served bason on the side.

Cooked a ham for Sunday dinner. Served these with them. Fed 2 families. They were great. Sometimes you just need a great side dish. Thanks
